This class is suitable for beginners and offers some practical techniques that may fit into your day. It begins with some gentle movement to settle and calm your body and mind, and begin to connect with your breath. A variety of short Spot Meditation techniques follow, eg. body scan. A slightly longer 10 to 20 minute guided meditation concludes the class.
The initial warm up is standing or sitting (folding chairs), then either sit or get comfy on a mat for the longer meditation. Leave feeling peaceful and relaxed and hopefully take something from the class to create a pause in your day.
